The “Famous Canadian Smooshers” turned into a cold mess when they made the short course’s turn outside The Viking Bar Saturday for one of Icebox Days premier events and finished third out of three teams. “This is a competition between the two countries,” said front-runner Midge McTaggart of Fort Frances. “I’m kidding, kidding, of course. We come here to show we are really more like one community just separated by a border.”
