Due to the expected warm temperatures and recent rainfall, trail and ice road conditions have succumbed to significant deterioration. As a result, ice road and snowmobile and ski trail maintenance in Voyageurs National Park has ended for the winter season. All trail markers will be removed this week. Snowmobile travel is no longer recommended. The Kabetogama Lake Ice Road will be closed effective Tuesday and the Rainy Lake Ice Road will close sometime between Tuesday and Friday.
