The Special Assembly Day of Jehovah’s Witnesses was conducted April 14 at the Bemidji High School Auditorium in Bemidji.

Delegates from the International Falls congregation were among the 738 in attendance for a program composed of talks, interviews, and experiences.

The theme, “Safeguard Your Conscience,” was based on 1st Timothy 1:19. The focus of the Assembly Theme was “How to Train Your Conscience.”

The public talk, “Is Your Conscience Truly Guided by Bible Principles,” was presented by Edward Elgin, visiting speaker from the U.S. Branch Office of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The highlight of the Special Assembly Day was the Dedication and Baptism Talk, “Give Your Heart to Jehovah,” in which four sisters and two brothers dedicated themselves to water baptism by total water immersion.

The concluding talk was “Follow Your Spirit-Directed Conscience.”

All present from the 10 northeastern Minnesota congregations were encouraged to consider how they might have a greater share in the Kingdom preaching and teaching work featuring free home Bible courses.
