Arlene Marie Perreault Stenberg, age 61, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, ending a four-year fight with cancer. She died peacefully with friends and family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and George Havluck; and sisters, Joanne and Jodie.
She is survived by siblings, George, Shelley, Larry, Suzie and Jason; children, Dana, Sean and Jarrod; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her spiritual companion, Peter Rykhus.
Her heart was as big as the sky and her mind was open to all spiritual possibilities.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Minneapolis. A reception followed.
