It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Ann Ulrich announces her sudden passing Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, in Naicatchewenin First Nation, Ontario.

Phyllis was born Sept. 6, 1962, in Fort Frances, Ontario, to George and Dolly Councillor.

She worked for the Naicatchewenin First Nation Band for many years.

She enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Phyllis was an outgoing person who had a natural ability to make people laugh.

She was a kind soul that was willing to help out anyone.

She leaves behind her husband, Donald; children, Nathaniel Councillor, Riel Councillor (Kristen), Lynnette Vogel (Jeremy) and George Councillor (Courtney); grandchildren, Tyrell, Nate, Taytum, Boden, Taylor, Avalee, Jasper, Kato, Brexton and Leighton; brothers, Gary Councillor (Lisa) and Darryl Councillor (Sharon); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, George and Dolly; and sister, Geraldine Courchene.

Visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Green Funeral Home, Fort Frances.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Naicatchewenin First Nation Gymnasium with Gilbert Smith officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
