Robert E. “Bob” Olson, age 61, died at his home.
Bob was born May 17, 1957, in International Falls, Minn.
A lifelong resident, he graduated from Falls High School in 1975.
Bob was employed at Riley’s Sporting Goods where he acquired a knack for riding and repairing bicycles.
He also worked at several area grocery stores.
He was the caregiver for his parents until they passed.
Bob loved making fishing rods and cat fishing with his friends, especially at Cat Fish Haven on the Red River, the Littlefork River and the Watonwan River.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Arlene Olson; sisters, Karen Hoskin and Mary Sutch; grandparents, Inez Munkholm, and Rudolph and Irene Olson.
He is survived by aunts, Alma Shepherd and Marnie Hoy; brother-in-law, Bob Sutch; a niece and two nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
