The International Falls girls swimming and diving team improved its dual meet record in 2011 to 1-2-1 after winning Tuesday at Chisholm, 58-36.
Rachel Adams was a double individual winner for the Broncos in the 160-yard medley (2:03.04) and 100 freestyle (1:00.9).
Morgan Bruess and Jayde Hall placed 1-2 in the 100 backstroke in 1:11.28 and 1:21.27, respectively.
Two other individual winners were Courtney Klow in the 500 freestyle (6:39.3) and Ashley Hasbargen in the 100 breaststroke (1:20.39).
Falls won all three relay races and the 18 points that went with those top finishes.
Adams and Klow joined Claire Herzig and Jenna Anderson to win the 160 medley relay in 1:42.26.
Adams and Bruess, along with Abby Oveson and Blair Johnson, placed first in the 160 freestyle relay in 1:28.54.
Oveson, Klow, Johnson and Breanna Shofner won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:21.48.
Other individual second-place finishes for the Broncos included:
• Kari Arnold, 200 freestyle, 2:32.99.
• Oveson, 60 freestyle, 35.6.
• Jessica Hell, 100 butterfly, 1:24.43.
Falls will host Northeast Region in the first home meet of the 2011 season at 5 p.m. Thursday. All swim events will start in the water instead of on starting blocks because the pool is only 3 1/2 feet deep.
