Falls’ girls swimming and diving team dropped another dual meet on the road that it was supposed to host Tuesday before a rule revision on pool depth sent the Broncos traveling to Grand Rapids.

Grand Rapids’ varsity team outscored the Falls, 109-66.

The top showings for the Broncos included a 1-2 finish in the 50 freestyle with senior Rachel Adams winning in 27.5 seconds and sophomore Breanna Shofner placing runner-up in 27.82.

Adams and Shofner teamed up with junior Abby Oveson and sophomore Blair Johnson to place runner-up to a team from Grand Rapids in the 200 freestyle relay.

Oveson and Johnson combined with sophomore Courtney Klow and freshman Jenna Anderson to place second to Grand Rapids in the 200 medley relay.

Falls senior Morgan Bruess won the 100 backstroke in 1:12.8 with Klow placing third in 1:16.21.

Bruess added a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle in 2:25.3, while Klow also placed third in the 200 individual medley in 2:50.35.

Bronco senior Ashley Hasbargen and Shofner placed 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke, while Falls also went 1-2 in the 400 freestyle relay.
