Falls’ girls swimming and diving dual meet hosted Thursday by Eveleth-Gilbert High School in a four-lane pool ended up in a 52-52 tie.
Bronco senior Rachel Adams won both the 100-yard butterfly (1:12.68) and the 160-yard individual medley (2:02.43).
Adams was part of another first-place finish when she joined junior Abby Oveson and sophomores Courtney Klow and Breanna Shofner to win the 160 freestyle relay in 1:29.51.
Other individual top finishes for the Falls came from seniors Morgan Bruess in the 100 backstroke (1:10.34) and Ashley Hasbargen in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.66).
The Broncos’ second-place individual finishes included:
• Bruess, 200 freestyle, 2:23.89.
• Klow, 160 medley, 2:08.51.
• Shofner, 60 freestyle, 34.37, and 100 freestyle, 1:03.03.
• Sophomore Kari Arnold, 500 freestyle, 6:47.58.
Falls’ 160 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams also placed second in 1:40.17 and 4:12.20, respectively.
