International Falls’ volleyball team faced fierce blocking opposition at home Tuesday when swept by Greenway, 9-25, 15-25, 19-25, to open the IRC tournament.
“I think we need to work on our offense as far as variety goes and move the ball along the net a little bit — make the blockers move, challenge them a little more and maybe use a little tipping — play a little smarter,” said Broncos head coach Erin Shikowsky.
Falls’ statistical leaders included: Reva Renollet, 10 digs and set assists; Sara Christianson, nine digs; Jenna Vergeldt, four kills; Sophie Fredrickson, four kills; Tessa Walls, six blocks; and Hailey Fentem, five blocks.
