International Falls’ girls hockey team opened the 2011-12 season Tuesday with a 7-1 loss at Roseau.
The Broncos stayed scoreless until the final period when junior forward Jordan Bright scored the team’s only goal.
The game was delayed late in the second period when Falls sophomore forward Hillary Fox was taken off the ice following an injury.
The Broncos will be back in action on Friday when they host Silver Bay.
