Littlefork-Big Falls’ football team rushed for more than 400 yards Friday as the Vikings won their second consecutive game on the road with a 46-8 victory against South Ridge.
L-BF, which tallied 423 of its 433 total yards on the ground, had two players rush for more than 100 yards.
John Reller, who scored four touchdowns, ran for 138 yards on 11 carries, including scoring scampers of 45 and 32 yards. Richie Van Drunen led the Vikings in rushing yardage with 173 yards on 12 carries.
L-BF got on the scoreboard on an 8-yard touchdown run by Mitch Nelson. The Vikings scored again in the opening quarter when Jeff Fry recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown.
Two second-quarter touchdowns by Reller and the subsequent two-point conversions gave L-BF a 30-0 lead at halftime.
In between two more Reller touchdowns in the third quarter, South Ridge scored its only touchdown when Brody Wilton ran into the end zone from 30 yards away.
L-BF, which improved to 2-5 overall, plays its final regular season game at home tonight at 7 against Bigfork, the team the Vikings lost to in the season opener Sept. 1. It is also Homecoming week at L-BF.
