It took five games Wednesday night for Rainy River Community College’s volleyball team to win a road match at Hibbing, 25-18, 25-27, 25-15, 20-25, 15-8.
The Voyageurs’ statistical leaders included: Tiffany Schumacher, 18 kills and 12 digs; Haylee Gates, 17 kills; Katrina Wreggitt, 13 kills and six blocks, Kelly Sorensen, 20 digs; and Nakita Estling, 52 set assists.
RRCC will be back in action at noon today when the Voyageurs face Vermilion in Ely.
