International Falls’ Billy “The Kidd” Christianson will be a “main event” attraction at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton on Saturday night when he will be in the championship Mixed Martial Arts fight at 155 pounds in “Fearless Fighting Championship 9.”

Christianson, whose professional record is 4-1, faces Austin Judge, who previously fought at 145 pounds and has a 10-4 pro record.

Christianson, 21, who works for the Canadian National Railway in Ranier, has been training with Borderland Combat Sports in the Falls area.

The 32-year-old Judge trains at American Top Team of Savage.

The winner will be crowned the Fearless Fighting Championship’s lightweight champion.

Christianson said he hopes in the future to be able to make a living as an MMA fighter.
