Elementary School sports sign-ups set
A sign-up for boys in grades 5-6 interested in football will take place at the Bronco Arena lobby on Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. The equipment handout will be Sept. 8, after school at Bronco Arena.
A sign-up for girls in grades 3-6 interested in volleyball will be held Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. at the Falls Elementary School gym.
A sign-up for girls in grade 4-6 interested in swimming will take place on Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the FHS pool.
The cost is $30.00, which includes a T-shirt. However, for kids on the free and reduced lunch program, the cost is $20.

RRCC fall baseball Instructional League
Rainy River Community College’s baseball team will be holding an instructional league for youths at Rizzo Field on five consecutive Saturdays from Sept. 10-Oct. 8.
The instructional league, which will be for grades 3-4 (9-10-year-olds at the Major B level) from 9 a.m.-noon and for grades 5-6 (11-12-year-olds at the Major A level) from 1-4 p.m., will include an hour of instruction on fielding and hitting during each session, followed by a two-hour instructional game.
In the event of inclement weather, Sundays will be used as a backup day starting at noon. Attendance at all sessions in recommended, but not required to be a part of this league.
The cost to join the instructional league is $100, which includes a league T-shirt. Payment can be made at the RRCC main office, or checks can be sent made payable to: RRCC Baseball, 1501 Highway 71, International Falls, MN 56649.
