It’s official: Hailey Silvers is the new Bronco boys swimming head coach.

The International Falls School Board approved a recommendation Tuesday for Silvers to replace Beth Reed, who resigned after holding the head coaching job the past three seasons.

Silvers, a Falls High School graduate who has worked as an assistant coach the past few years, has handled the Broncos’ diving program.

Another assistant boys swimming coach, Trevor Plasky, received board approval to return next season.

The board also approved rehiring two boys track and field coaches, head coach Paul Hjelle and longtime assistant Dan Zika.

Two Bronco baseball coaches — head coach Vic Heinlen and assistant Eric Walls — received formal approval to return next season.
